Summary

Just type the product code in the conversation with Dri, for example "AB10371". She answers with a card: the price, already with your company's terms, and the stock. You can also ask by name or send several codes in the same message.

When Dri doesn't find the product, or finds several, she sends a link that opens the site's catalog with the search ready, already signed in to your account.

Where to find it

In the conversation with Dri, on the supplier's WhatsApp. She recognizes you by the phone number registered in your account. If you turned on Telegram in My Account, the lookup works the same way there (see Talk to Dri on Telegram). Dri's Chat, which also appears in My Account, is for the supplier's team and doesn't answer a buyer account.

Checking price and stock doesn't put together any quote: to order, see Order through Dri on WhatsApp.

How to ask

Write the product code, alone or with the question the way you would say it: "AB10371", "price 127", "how much is the AB1000?". The code is the safest path: it brings the card for that product, not a similar one.

  • The price already comes with your discount. Dri queries the catalog with the terms negotiated for your company; you don't need to ask for a discount or do any math.
  • The stock appears on the same card, when the supplier provides the stock for that product. She says the available quantity. Which of the supplier's warehouses the goods are in and when restocking arrives aren't provided through this channel; for that, talk to your seller.
  • Product data (weight, dimensions, color, material, voltage) can also be asked about. If the supplier's registration doesn't have that information, she says it doesn't, instead of estimating.

Two precautions avoid most wrong answers:

  • Asking only by product type may bring any model. "What's the price of the faucet?" or "price sink" usually comes back with the count and the catalog link, but it may also come back with the card of a single model, which isn't necessarily the one you wanted. Before using the price, check the name and the code at the top of the card. Prefer the code, or the line name and the size ("stainless sink 40x40").
  • *Several codes: put price or stock in the same message. For example, "price AB10371, AB10372, CD21608", or stock* on the first line and one code per line below. Separate the codes by comma or by line. Dri answers one card per code, up to 30 per message; beyond that, she says which ones were left out so you can send them again. Codes alone, without any word, may be read as an order.

Examples that work:

  • "AB10371": the code alone already brings price and stock;
  • "price AB10371, AB10372, CD21608": one card for each code;
  • "do you have a thermos?": by name, when you don't know the code;
  • "what's the size of CD22496?": the registration data, when the supplier has it.

The codes are examples: use the ones in your supplier's catalog.

How to write the code

Send the code as it is in the supplier's catalog, with the letters, dots and dashes it has: AB10070, 10.04.12345. Today it works best like this:

  • write the code together, with no space between the letters and the numbers: AB10070, not AB 10070;
  • don't put a word in front of the code, like reference, ref or code: the word goes along into the search and gets in the way. Price and stock can come along without a problem;
  • if you aren't sure of the leading letters, send just the numbers. When the supplier registered those letters, or when the number is a piece of a product's code, Dri says she didn't find the exact code and shows what she found, starting with "I didn't find the code '…' exactly.". Check the card's code before using the price. Swapped letters (DC21608 instead of CD21608, for example) aren't corrected.

How to read the price card

The card has the product name in bold and, right below, on one line, the brand and the code (and the store, when the search goes through more than one). Then comes the price, line by line:

  • Table, with the amount struck through: the price table price that applies to your company (or the promotional one, when the product is on promotion), before the discounts. Next to it come the discounts, each with its name and percentage;
  • Store disc.: the standard discount the store gives;
  • Customer disc.: the discount negotiated with your company. When both appear, the second is applied on top of the price that already has the first: -30% and -5% make 33,5% off the list price, not 35%. Cash disc. may also appear, when the store gives a discount for the payment terms;
  • Price, in bold: the price of one unit that applies to you, already with the discounts and without tax. When the card doesn't have the Table line, there is no discount on the price table, and the price shown already is the one that applies to you;
  • box N un, on the same line as the price: the price of the whole package, for a product sold by the box. For example, "Price: R$ 7,00/un · box 60 un: R$ 420,00";
  • one line per tax, with its name (IPI or ICMS-ST, for example), the rate in parentheses and the amount in reais for that unit;
  • With and the tax name when there is only one (With IPI, for example), or With taxes when there are two or more, in bold: the price of one unit with the tax added. It isn't the total of an order;
  • not included in the order, in place of the tax amount: the supplier shows the rate in the catalog, but that tax doesn't go into your order. In that case there is no With … line, and the order goes out at the price shown.

Some answers use slightly different names for the same lines: Table price struck through (the price table price, before the discounts), Net price (your price, without tax), From struck through and Promotion (the product has a promotional price) and Packaging: N un = R$ (the box price).

The card uses the terms registered for your company at the moment of the question. If those terms change, the same product starts coming with other discounts.

How to read the stock

The stock comes at the end of the card, on a line that starts with 📦:

  • "📦 In stock: 40 un": the quantity available now;
  • "📦 Out of stock": none available;
  • "📦 Out of stock today", followed by Pre-sale: none on the shelf, but the supplier still sells from goods that are about to arrive;
  • "📦 I couldn't check the stock right now": the supplier's system didn't answer. Ask again in a little while;
  • "📦 Not found in the ERP stock": the supplier's system doesn't know that code. Talk to your seller.

When the search finds a single product, the card ends with See product: and the link to its page on the site, already signed in to your account.

When it goes wrong

"No product found for '…'.": the search found nothing with what you wrote. Right below comes Search the catalog: with a link. Send the code the way it is in the catalog (the tips are in the How to write the code section, above), or tap the link: it opens the site's catalog with the same search done, already signed in to your account, and there you search with other words.

"I didn't find '…' exactly, but the catalog has N similar ones.": the search found nearby products, but none with enough certainty to show as the answer. Tap See in the catalog: to see the similar ones and choose, or send the code of the product you want.

"I found N products for '…'. Be more specific or see the catalog:": the search found several products and Dri doesn't pick one for you. No list to choose from comes, not even when there are only two or three. Send the code, or a more specific name (the line, the size, the color), or tap the link right below, which opens the catalog with the search ready. When the search goes through more than one of the supplier's stores, the 📋 Stores: line also comes, before the link, with how many were found in each one.

"I couldn't search the catalog right now": the catalog search is down at that moment. Try again in a few moments, or send the product code, since that lookup keeps working.

The price Dri gave is different from what I expected: she uses the terms registered for your company. Check the discount lines on the card, explained in the How to read the price card section, above. If the terms are wrong, talk to your seller.

Common questions

Does Dri's price already include my discount? It does. The Price line, in bold, already has the store's and your company's discounts; the struck-through amount next to Table is the price table price, before them.

Is the "With IPI", "With ICMS-ST" or "With taxes" amount the total of my order? No. It's the price of one unit with the tax added. The total depends on the quantities in the order.

I asked for the faucet price and got a model I didn't want. Why? Asking only by product type may bring a single model, chosen by the search. Send the code, or the line name and the size, and check the code at the top of the card before using the price.

Dri said she found several products and didn't show any. Now what? Send the code or a more specific name, or tap the link in the answer: it opens the catalog with the search ready, already in your account.

Why did "not included in the order" come next to the tax? The supplier shows the rate in the catalog, but doesn't charge that tax in the order. The order goes out at the price shown on the Price line.
