Line notices: the Check badge, the drawer and the review panel

The Check badge on the quote line, the notices drawer and the review panel: how to decide item by item or in bulk, and what blocks sending.

Where to find it

In the menu, under Quotes: open the document. Notices appear in two places, with different roles:

  • on the line itself, in a badge next to the code and in a drawer that opens below it: that is where you decide item by item;
  • in the "Order review and adjustments" panel, at the top of the quote: it counts how many lines have each type of notice, takes you to them and offers the bulk actions.

The edit cart shows the same line, with the same badge and the same drawer.

The line badge: "Check" and "Check before sending"

Every line with something to check gets a badge with the count in parentheses. It has two levels:

  • Check (N): amber, hollow triangle, thin border on the left of the line: worth a look.
  • Check before sending (N): orange, solid triangle, thicker border: the consequence of not looking is more serious (for example, a line with no product or a reading question still open).

⚠️ Neither one blocks anything. What separates them is urgency, not a lock: the quote can be sent and confirmed with open notices. The badge number is always the number of items the drawer of that line shows.

How to open a line's notices (the drawer)

  • On a computer: click the Check badge. The drawer opens right below the line, with the notices numbered (1, 2, 3…), each with a short title and its actions. The mark below a contested number (the quantity, for example) also opens the drawer.
  • On a phone: each card has the details button (and less to close it). There the badge is just a label.

Above the table, next to "Show:", the Open the N notices button opens the drawer of every line with a notice at once (and becomes Collapse the N notices). The drawer is never remembered: every quote opens collapsed.

Besides the notices, the drawer shows the line's context without alert colors: the code as it was read ("read:"), the buyer's reference ("Buyer ref.:") and the price written on the document.

Ambiguous product: choose among the candidates

When what the customer wrote matches more than one product, the Product cell says Ambiguous product — choose below and the drawer brings the question (with titles like Ambiguous product, Mixed catalog or Ambiguous reading). The candidates appear as product cards, with photo, code, description and price, to compare:

  • click This one on the right card;
  • the ★ suggested badge marks Dri's guess: it is only a hint, the click is still yours;
  • ✓ applied marks the candidate that was already chosen automatically, when Dri resolved it on her own and left it for you to check;
  • Search for another product opens the catalog search, for when the right one is not among the cards;
  • options that are not products are in the Another option… menu;
  • none of these closes the question without choosing. If the line had no product yet, it starts appearing as a code not found, with the ways out from there. See Code not found on the quote: search, save for future or discard.

When the code matched nothing but the catalog has similar ones, the title is Not found — suggestions and the card's button is Use.

Code corrected

When the document's code almost certainly had a typo, Dri corrects it and matches the product, and leaves the Code corrected notice: "Check or change the product." The original code appears as "read:". Two ways out:

  • Change product: opens the catalog search to put in the right product (on the reading screen, the link opens edit mode with the search already open). See Change the product on a quote line.
  • keep (dismiss): the correction was right; the notice goes away and the screen confirms "Correction kept".

Package in question and EMB missing

Package in question appears when the document declared a packaging the catalog does not confirm. The drawer says "The catalog says a box of N units." Use Convert to boxes if the customer asked for boxes (the quantity becomes boxes by the catalog factor), or dismiss if the number read is already right. With no answer, the order goes on with the quantity as it was read. In the panel, this notice is called Packaging mismatch — the document says otherwise.

EMB missing appears when the item was ordered in boxes, but the catalog does not record how many pieces come in the box: the quantities stayed as units. The ways out:

  • the button that keeps the units (usually Keep N units);
  • the qty/box field with Convert ×N, which multiplies the quantity by the number you enter.

⚠️ Converting through the field saves that number in the product registry when the registry has no packaging: check first, because the value starts applying to future orders.

Questions answered with a button

Some reading questions have the answers as buttons, in the drawer itself: Pieces or boxes?, Quantity or price?, Suspicious quantity, Crossed-out line, Similar product — choose the right one (the line identified by image, whose candidates come as cards). Click the right answer; the one already applied appears with ✓ in front.

Others are just a check, and the way out is dismiss when everything is right: for example Similar code in the catalog — confirm which one, Duplicate line, Same code on two lines or A second reading saw another code. When there are products to offer, they appear as cards to swap; without them, change in edit mode → takes you to the editor.

A line identified by photo, when there is no question to ask, shows only a discreet note below the product name: it does not go into the drawer, but it is worth checking.

The "Order review and adjustments" panel

At the top of the quote, the panel summarizes and acts in bulk: it never lists item by item. Each panel row is a type of notice with the count, and brings:

  • see in table (1/5): scrolls to the line, opens the drawer and lands on the control; clicking again goes to the next one;
  • show only these N: filters the table to show only those lines (show all undoes it);
  • the bulk actions, always with the number of lines the click reaches.

Batches exist when the same decision repeats on two or more lines: They're quantities (N) / They're prices (N), In pieces (N) / In boxes (N), Keep as units (N), Convert to boxes (N) (on the Quantities in pieces row), Convert to pieces (N) (on the Quantities in boxes row) and Use the catalog packaging (N). With a single item, resolve it on the line.

Dismiss (N) dismisses all notices of that type, and applies only to this quote: the next one asks again.

What actually holds up sending

Line notices do not block confirmation: the quote confirms with them open, and what was left pending is recorded in the confirmation report. Send estimate is only refused in three cases:

  • a line with zero quantity;
  • a line pointing to a product that no longer exists in the store's catalog;
  • no items going into the proposal (the customer would get an empty file).

Common questions

The badge says Check (3) but I only see one notice. Open the whole drawer: on a computer it opens below the line; the notices are numbered, and the last one may be below the fold.

I resolved it in the panel and the line still has the notice. The batch applies to the lines of that type; other notices on the same line remain. Check the badge number.

I dismissed by mistake. Dismissing applies only to this quote and does not change any data: the line stays as it was. If the problem was real, fix it directly on the line (quantity, product or price).

Dri flagged issues on WhatsApp. Reading questions are not answered in the conversation; it is here, on the line. See When Dri asks, and how to answer.
