Mark a quote as a test
For the administrator: mark one or more quotes as a test to remove them from billing and from the quote list, without deleting anything.

Where to find it
In the menu, under Quotes. Two ways:
- One document: open the quote and, under Other actions, use Mark as test.
- Several at once: in the list, click Select (next to Filters), check the documents and use the bar that appears at the top.
Only the administrator sees these actions. Sellers and buyers don't mark tests.
What a test document is
It's a quote or order that isn't a real sale: an order someone on the team placed to learn how to use Vendria, a simulation on WhatsApp, a demo order. Once marked as a test, the document:
- leaves revenue and the company's numbers: dashboards, seller and customer statistics;
- leaves the default quote list (it comes back with the With tests or Tests only filter);
- still exists, with everything it had. Nothing is deleted.
How to mark a quote as a test
- Open the quote in Quotes.
- Click Other actions.
- Choose Mark as test: "leaves revenue and the quote list".
To undo it, in the same menu, use Unmark test: "counts toward revenue again and reappears in the list". To find a marked document, turn on With tests or Tests only in the list's Tests filter.
Mark several documents as a test
- In the Quotes list, click Select.
- Check the documents, or Select all on this page.
- In the bar at the top, choose Mark as test, Unmark or Revert to automatic.
- Cancel selection exits selection mode.
Tip: after a testing session, filter by Tests only or by the test customer and mark everything at once.
In a purchase with several orders
The purchase is classified as a whole: marking one order in a purchase marks all of its orders ("the whole purchase leaves revenue and the quote list"). A purchase that was half test and half sale would leave part of it inside the numbers and part outside, with nothing on screen showing the difference.
Automatic test and Revert to automatic
Some documents are born as tests, without anyone marking them: those created by someone from Vendria itself (support) logged into your account. These show the test badge and stay out of the numbers by default.
You can Unmark test on one of these documents if it's a real sale. And Revert to automatic hands the decision back to the creation rule: the document becomes a test again if it was created by support, and stops being one if it wasn't.
⚠️ Impersonating a buyer doesn't mark a test. An order you place using Impersonate on the customer's record is treated as a real sale, because it's the customer's real flow. If it was just a test, mark it by hand.
Mark in any status
Marking as a test works in any status: draft, confirmed, exported, canceled. The most common case is precisely the order already confirmed or exported that turns out to have been a test. Marking doesn't cancel the order and doesn't touch the ERP: if it has already entered the ERP, it stays there.
Common questions
- I marked it as a test and the quote disappeared. That's expected; turn on With tests in the Tests filter.
- The number in parentheses next to the Tests filter is how many test documents exist in the slice you're viewing.
- I don't see Mark as test. Only the administrator sees it.
- I marked one order in a purchase and the others became tests too. The purchase is classified as a whole.
