# A customer's price table: assign it on the profile

> For the administrator: assign a price table to a customer, store by store, in the Discounts & Access tab of the profile, and see when it applies.

## Where to find it

In the menu, under **Customers**. Open the customer's profile and go to the **Discounts &
Access** tab, **Settings per Store** card. Each of the organization's stores is a
row, with the columns **Access**, **Store**, **Price Table** and **Discount**.
On a phone, each store becomes a card with the same fields.

The tab and the table choice belong to the administrator. The seller sees the customer's
profile for reference only.

## When to assign a table to the customer

Choose the table on the profile when **that customer** negotiated a price that isn't
their group's: a contract, a distributor with its own table, a special
customer.

To give the same table to many customers at once (all of a region, or
a seller's whole portfolio), don't open profile after profile: create a price
rule. See [Price rules: table and adjustment by region or by seller](/en/ajuda/regras-de-preco).

## How to assign the price table

1. Open the customer's profile and the **Discounts & Access** tab.
2. In the **Settings per Store** card, find the store's row.
3. In the **Price Table** column, choose the table.
4. The **Price table updated** message confirms it. There's no save button:
   the choice is saved immediately.

To remove the customer's own table, choose **Store default**: the customer goes back to the
normal path (price rule, if any, or the store's default table).

The choice is **per store**: a customer can have the "Wholesale" table in store A and stay
on store B's default.

## What the profile's table list shows

The list in the **Price Table** column only brings that store's **active commercial**
tables. These don't appear:

- **inactive** tables: activate them in **Prices**, **Price tables** tab, if you need them;
- **promotional** tables: the promotion applies on its own, to whoever is entitled.

When the store has no table, the column shows **No table**. Create the
first one in your account menu, under **Prices**, **Price tables** tab.

## The profile's table beats the rules

The table chosen on the profile is the first step of the price choice: it beats the
seller and region rules and the store's default table. Moving the customer to another
seller or region has **no** effect on their table while there's one chosen on the
profile.

The **Discount** on the same row is something else: it's the customer's automatic discount
in that store, applied on top of the table price. The **Default Discount**, in the
card above, applies to stores without a specific discount. See [Commercial rules and discount](/en/ajuda/regras-comerciais-e-desconto).

## How many customers use each table

In **Prices**, **Price tables** tab, each table's **N buying companies** badge
counts the customers that have that table chosen on their profile. Before deactivating or
deleting a table, look at that number: those are the customers whose price changes.

## When an assigned table goes away

- **Table deactivated**: the customers that had it on their profile follow the
normal path while it's inactive; when it's activated again, they go back to it.
- **Table deleted**: the choice disappears from the profiles, and the customers follow the
  normal path for good.

In both cases the **Price tables** tab warns how many customers will be affected
before you confirm.

## When it goes wrong

**"Error saving price table."** The choice wasn't saved and the profile goes back to the
previous value. Try again.

**"The table I want doesn't appear in the list."** It's inactive, promotional
or belongs to another store.

**"I chose the table and the customer still has the old price on a quote."**
A sent quote or a confirmed order doesn't change price. A draft picks up the new
price when it's edited. See [Price tables](/en/ajuda/tabelas-de-preco).
