# Vendria's roles: what each one sees and does

> Vendria's roles in one table: what the owner, administrators, seller, buyer and rep agency team see and do.

## Where to find it

In your account menu, under **Users**. Each person's role appears as a badge
in the **Roles** column of the **All** tab, and is chosen in the **Profile** field when
you register someone. Each role also has its own tab at the top of the screen:
**Owners**, **Company Admin**, **Store Admin**, **Sellers**,
**Sales reps** and **Buyers**.

## The roles in a table

| Role (badge on screen) | Scope | What they see and do |
|---|---|---|
| **Company owner** | The whole company | Everything the Company Adm. does. On top of that, it's the only one who grants or removes the Owner and Company Adm. roles, and the only one who sees the ERP integration in **Company Settings**. |
| **Company Admin** | All stores, including those created later | The whole administration menu (Users, Sellers, Sales reps, Carriers, Commercial Rules, Prices, Catalog and exports, Order reading and the rest), everyone's quotes and the company Dashboard. |
| **Store Admin** | Only the stores checked in their record | The same administration menu, narrowed to their stores. In **Users** they only see and only manage people from those stores. |
| **Seller** | The stores checked in their record | **Quotes**, **Catalog**, **Customers** (their portfolio), **Actions**, **Latent demand** and **Sent lists**. Builds quotes and serves customers through Dri on WhatsApp. Doesn't touch prices, commercial rules or people's records. |
| **Buyer** | The stores enabled for their customer | The **Catalog** with that customer's prices, their own **Quotes** and orders, and **My Company**. Places orders. |
| **Sales rep** | The stores in the rep agency's mandate | Works as a seller, but the access comes from their rep agency, not from a record on your team. |

The **Help Center** appears for everyone: each person sees only the guides for their
role.

## Owner and Company Adm.: the difference that matters

Both see the whole company. The difference is who manages the administrators:

- Only the **Company owner** creates, edits, changes the password of, deactivates or
removes anyone with the Owner or Company Adm. role.
- A Company Adm. who tries gets **"Only the company owner can
manage company administrators"**, and, for them, the **Change
Password**, **Deactivate** and **Remove** options don't even appear on those people's row.
- The company needs at least one active Owner. Removing the role from or
deactivating the last one responds **"The company needs at least one active
  owner"**.

## Company Adm. or Store Adm.: the whole company or just some stores

The question is scope. **Company Admin** applies to all stores, including
those you open later. **Store Admin** applies only to the checked stores.

When the Owner creates or edits a Store Adm., the **Scope** block
appears, with **Whole company** ("All stores, including those created
later") and **Only some stores** ("Becomes Store Adm., with the stores checked
below"). Switching the option switches the saved role.

⚠️ Checking **All stores** on a Store Adm. or a Seller checks the stores that
exist today. A store created later doesn't join that person's record on its own:
only the Company Adm. gets new stores automatically.

## What the seller sees

The seller works on their portfolio: the **Customers** screen shows the
customers they're responsible for, and the quotes they see are their own and those
of the customers in their portfolio. They don't see colleagues' documents. The customer
profile, for them, is read-only: editing the record is for whoever administers.

The seller's Dashboard is a different screen (sales and target), and not every store has it
enabled. See [Minhas vendas e minha meta: pelo WhatsApp e na tela](/ajuda/minhas-vendas-e-minha-meta).

## What the buyer sees

The buyer is a person at one of your customers. They go straight into the **Catalog**,
with that customer's price table and discounts, build the cart and place
orders. They only see active stores that are enabled for their customer
and that have the web portal for buyers turned on. How to give that access: see [Give a buyer access: catalog, WhatsApp and stores](/en/ajuda/dar-acesso-a-um-comprador).

## Roles inside a rep agency

Whoever sells through a rep agency has a second role, inside it:

- **Partner**: manages the rep agency's people and sees and edits the whole team's quotes.
- **Administrative**: sees and edits the whole team's quotes. When the Partner
allows it (the **Team management** permission starts on), they also add, edit
and remove Administratives and Sellers, but never touch a Partner. Like the Partner, they answer for the AI credits contract, and that is the whole
**Subscription and billing** section (usage notices, plans, signing up, changing
plans, invoice details, card and subscription cancellation).
- **Seller**: sees their own quotes. Orders that arrive without an owner for the
rep agency stay with Partner and Administrative, unless the Partner opens the queue
to the whole team in **Permissions** (or the Administrative, if the **Permissions
by the Administrative** switch allows it). See [Permissões: o que a equipe da representação pode fazer](/ajuda/permissoes-da-equipe-de-representacao).

The customers in the rep agency's portfolio belong to the agency, and every member
reaches them, whatever their role. See [Sales reps and permissions](/en/ajuda/representantes-e-permissoes).

## Common questions

**Can I give two roles to the same person?** Yes. When editing, use **Add
profile**; each role becomes its own card, with its stores.

**Does the "Seller type" (Sales rep or Internal) change what they see?** No. It's
a label on the record. The outside sales rep, with access through a mandate, is
registered in **Sales reps**, not through that field.

**Why doesn't the Store Adm. see buyers in Users?** Because their list
shows only people linked to their stores, and a buyer is linked to the customer,
not to a store. Buyers are managed on the customer profile, in **Customers**.
