# Import the product photos

> For the administrator: import product photos from a computer folder, Google Drive or OneDrive, naming each file by the product code.

## Where to find it

In your account menu, under **Catalog and exports**, **Import** tab → button
**Import spreadsheet** → **Import images**. It opens the **Import
Images** window, which doesn't touch price, stock or description, only photos.

There are two other paths for photos: the catalog spreadsheet itself (a column
with the image link, or photos pasted into the cells) and editing a product,
one at a time.

## How to name the photo files

The photo is linked to the product by the **file name**, which must be the **product
code** (SKU):

- **1106.jpg**: the main photo of product 1106;
- **1106_1.jpg**, **1106_2.jpg**: additional photos of the same product.

The photo order follows the name: first the file with no suffix, then **1106_1**,
**1106_2**, **1106_3**, in numeric order. The first is the main photo, the one that appears on the
list and in the catalog. `.jpg`, `.jpeg`, `.png` and `.webp` are accepted.

⚠️ Importing a product's photos again **replaces its entire set**:
if there were three photos before and now two came, the third is removed. Products that don't
have a file in the folder aren't touched.

## Import photos from a computer folder

1. In **Import Images**, choose **Folder upload**.
2. In **Computer folder**, select the folder with the photos.
3. The upload starts on its own: photos are downsized in the browser and sent in
batches, with a progress bar per step.
4. At the end, the window shows **Import complete** with **Photos**,
   **Products**, **Not found** and **Failures**.

Leave the window open until the end: it doesn't close while importing.

## Import photos from a Google Drive or OneDrive folder

1. In **Import Images**, choose **Cloud folder**.
2. In **Provider**, choose **Google Drive** or **OneDrive**.
3. Set up the sharing:
   - **Google Drive**: share the folder with Vendria's service email
as **Viewer**. If you don't have that email, ask Vendria
     support;
   - **OneDrive**: the link must be public ("anyone with the link").
4. Paste the address in **Shared folder link** and click **Import**.
5. Follow **Listing images...** and **Matching images to products...** until
   the result.

## Photos that found no product

When a file name doesn't match any product, it goes into **Not
found**. In a folder upload, the window lists these photos with a thumbnail and
a **SKU** field beside it:

1. Type the right code for each photo (those left blank are set
   aside).
2. Click **Resend with corrected SKUs**.
3. The window says how many were matched and how many still found no product.

In a cloud import, the window shows only the names of the **Unmatched
files**. Rename those files in the folder and import again.

The most common reasons: the name has something besides the code (`foto 1106.jpg`), the
code has a prefix the file doesn't have, or two products may match
the same name.

## Photos and image recognition

Every photo that comes in here, through the spreadsheet or through product editing is already
prepared for image search: when the customer sends a photo of a product
with no code, Dri compares it with these photos. If recognition seems
behind (products with photos that image search doesn't find), see [Image recognition: update the photos' fingerprint](/en/ajuda/reconhecimento-de-imagens).

## Change the photo of a single product

Open the product from the product list (menu **Catalog**), click **Edit** and
use **Catalog image (main)**: paste a link or click **Upload**.
Then, **Save**. See [Edit or delete a catalog product](/en/ajuda/editar-ou-excluir-um-produto).

## When it goes wrong

**"Import interrupted."** A batch failed and the following ones weren't sent.
Photos from the previous batches are already saved; import the folder again to
complete it.

**"No images found in the folder."** The cloud folder has no image
files, or the link isn't the folder's.

**"Paste the shared folder link."** The **Shared folder link** field
was left empty.
