# Settings: the organization's stores and the switches of each one

> For the administrator: the Settings screen, with the list of stores, how to reactivate a deactivated store and the switches that apply to the whole organization.

## Where to find it

In your account menu, under **Company Settings**. The page is called
**Settings** and is **a single page, with no tabs**. From top to bottom:

1. the **New store** button, next to the title;
2. **Company Details**: name, CNPJ and **Identity on documents**;
3. the organization's switches, one per card: **Multi-store cart**, **Independent
   orders per store**, **Companies from different groups in the same order**,
   **Pre-sale counts as stock** and **Default unit when the quantity comes
   without a unit**;
4. **Order extraction hints**;
5. **Order status notice**: the time limits, in days, for each order stage;
6. **ERP Integration**: only for the company Owner;
7. the list of **Stores** and, if there are any, **Deactivated Stores**.

Who sees what depends on the role: see [Who can change Company Settings](/en/ajuda/quem-pode-mexer-nas-configuracoes-da-empresa).

## The list of stores

At the end of the page, **Stores** shows the organization's active stores, each with
its count of sellers, products and customers. Clicking a store opens its page
(see [A store's page: details, default discount and deactivation](/en/ajuda/pagina-de-uma-loja-dados-e-desativacao)).

⚠️ Only the number of **products** belongs to the store. **Sellers** and **customers** are
records of the whole organization, so they show up the same on every row.

**New store**, at the top, registers another store. See [Create a new store in the organization](/en/ajuda/criar-uma-loja-nova-na-organizacao).

## Reactivate a deactivated store

Below the list is **Deactivated Stores**, which only appears when there is one. An
inactive store does not appear to sellers or buyers, and its record and
history stay stored.

To bring it back, click **Reactivate** on its row. The message
**"… reactivated"** appears, the store goes back to the **Stores** list and its products return
to search.

## The switches that change how orders behave

🚨 **Mind the scope: these switches apply to the whole ORGANIZATION**, not
to one store. Settings for a specific store are on that store's page or
in **Commercial Rules**.

Each switch **saves on click** and confirms with a message (for example,
**Multi-store cart turned on**). There is no save button for them.

- **Multi-store cart**: lets buyers and sellers build a single cart
  with items from several stores. At checkout, the purchase is split
  automatically into one order per store.
- **Independent orders per store**: when the purchase is split, each order
  gets its own customer, seller and confirmation. The purchase page
  stops confirming everything at once and becomes the roster of orders.
- **Companies from different groups in the same order**: allows an allocated order to
  have companies unrelated to each other, each one invoicing under its own CNPJ.
  When off, the order only accepts branches of the customer itself.
- **Pre-sale counts as stock**: what the store has in pre-sale starts adding
  to physical stock when deciding how much can be sold, and whatever exceeds
  physical stock becomes a separate reservation order in the ERP. When off, only the shelf
  counts.
- **Default unit when the quantity comes without a unit**: decides whether a
  quantity without a unit ("10 AB10371") is read as **Box** or as **Piece
  (unit)**. The **Not set** state is the usual one: Dri decides from the
  order itself. It applies only when the line carries no unit, and a product with no registered
  packaging never becomes a box.

### The seller's preference sits above the Default unit

A seller can have their own preference, and it applies before this switch. When
they send Dri, in a message on its own, *I always order by the box* (or by the
unit), the unitless quantity that **they** type or say starts following that
preference, whatever the organization's **Default unit** is. Photos, PDFs and
spreadsheets keep following this switch, because the paper is almost always the
customer's order.

The full order, from strongest to weakest:

1. the unit written on the line itself (*10 boxes*, *10 units*);
2. the unit written on the other lines of the same order;
3. the preference the seller told Dri, only for what they typed or said;
4. the **Default unit** on this page;
5. with none of them, Dri decides from the order itself.

You can tell which of the two applied. In Dri's reply, the line **📦 No unit in the
message** ends with **as you prefer** when it was the seller's preference
and with **(your organization's default)** when it was this switch. On the quote, the notice
on the converted lines says **as you prefer** or **which is the default configured
for your organization**. How the seller declares and undoes the preference is in
[Montar uma cotação por texto no WhatsApp](/ajuda/montar-cotacao-por-texto-no-whatsapp).

## Pitfalls of the organization switches

⚠️ **Multi-store cart**, **Pre-sale counts as stock** and **Companies from
different groups** start out **on**: turning them off is a change, not an initial
setup.

⚠️ **Pre-sale counts as stock is turned off by itself when the organization
connects its first ERP.** It is a safeguard: without it, the first confirmed order
could send the ERP a reservation nobody asked for. If your operation sells
pre-sale, turn the switch back on after connecting (see [Connect a store's ERP](/en/ajuda/conectar-o-erp-de-uma-loja)).

⚠️ **Turning off Independent orders per store can be refused**: if any
purchase in progress already has a different customer or seller across its orders, the
system blocks it and lists the purchases, because turning it off there would silently rewrite those
differences. Resolve the listed purchases and try again.

## Order extraction tips

A free text that guides order reading **by photo or scanned PDF**:
vision reading. It applies to **no** spreadsheets or digital PDFs, and that is
why a tip written here sometimes seems to have no effect: the file
you tested did not go through vision. Write one instruction per line (for example,
what your product codes look like) and click **Save**; the button is only
enabled when the text has changed.

## Order status notice

The **Order status notice** card defines for how many days an order can
sit still in each stage before Vendria stops tracking it and notifying
about it. There are three fields: **Under review** (until it is authorized), **Authorized**
(until it goes into picking) and **Being picked** (until it is invoiced). Blank means the
default applies: 45, 90 and 45 days. Each field accepts a whole number from 1 to 365, and the
**Save deadlines** button saves all three at once.

⚠️ The new time limit also applies to orders already being tracked: any
that are already past it leave tracking at the next check, and do not come back.

Every administrator sees the card, but only the Owner and the company Administrator
change the time limits; the store administrator sees the fields locked. The notice
itself is covered in [Ser avisado quando o pedido mudar de status no ERP](/ajuda/aviso-de-status-do-pedido).

## Company Details

It is the **first** block on the page: **Company Name**, **CNPJ** and, under **Identity
on documents**, the issuer's phone, email and address: that part is what goes
in the header of the PDFs, spreadsheets and the review page sent to customers.
Unlike the switches, these fields only save with the block's **Save** button. See [The company details printed on documents: name, CNPJ, address and contact](/en/ajuda/dados-da-empresa-nos-documentos).

## ERP Integration

The **ERP Integration** card lists each store's ERP connections and is where the
company Owner connects a new ERP. See [Connect a store's ERP](/en/ajuda/conectar-o-erp-de-uma-loja) and
[Know whether the ERP integration is working](/en/ajuda/saber-se-a-integracao-com-o-erp-esta-funcionando).

## When it goes wrong

- **The list of Stores does not appear**: either you are a store administrator (it does not
  appear for that role), or the organization has no active store yet.
- **I changed a switch and it went back**: someone else with access to the page may have
  changed it afterwards; the switches belong to the organization and any administrator can change them.
- **The pre-sale switch turned off by itself**: the organization connected (or
  reconnected) its first ERP.

## Common questions

**I set the Default unit to Box and a seller keeps getting pieces. Why?**
Most likely the seller told Dri they order by the unit, and their preference
applies before the organization switch for what they type or say. Dri's reply
shows **as you prefer** when that is the case. Another common cause: the unit
was written on the line or on the other lines of the order, and that always wins. And
a product with no registered packaging never becomes a box, whatever the switch.

**Does the Default unit apply to orders by photo, PDF or spreadsheet?** Yes. It is the
seller's preference that does not apply there: in those files the **Default
unit** on this page rules. See [Cotação a partir de foto, PDF ou planilha no WhatsApp](/ajuda/cotacao-por-foto-pdf-e-planilha).

**Does changing a switch here change only my store?** No. Every switch on this page
applies to the whole organization, in every store.

**Do I need to click save after changing a switch?** No. The switches save on
click and confirm with a message. Only **Company Details**, **Order extraction
tips** and **Order status notice** have a save button.

**How do I bring back a store I deactivated?** In **Deactivated Stores**, at the end
of the page, click **Reactivate** on its row.
