# Boletos, overdue receivables and the customer's credit through Dri

> Ask Dri whether a customer has an overdue boleto, how much credit is left, which invoice each receivable belongs to and how to send a copy of the boleto.

## What you can ask

Through the conversation with Dri (WhatsApp, Telegram or the Vendria chat) you ask
for a customer's credit limit and open receivables, read from the store's ERP
on the spot, and who in your portfolio has an overdue receivable. Examples:

- *"does Bazar Modelo have an overdue boleto?"*;
- *"what's Bazar Modelo's credit limit?"*;
- *"Bazar Modelo's open boletos"*, *"Bazar Modelo's overdue receivables"*;
- right after, without repeating the name: *"and the overdue ones?"*, *"what's due this
  week?"*;
- for the whole portfolio: *"who has an overdue receivable?"*, *"open boletos
  above 5 thousand"*.

In a question about one customer, "overdue", "late", "past due" and
"in default" are read the same way. In the portfolio, *"which customers are
late?"* is a different question: who has gone a while without buying. For the portfolio's
receivables, say "receivable" or "boleto" with it, as in *"who has an overdue
receivable?"*. All of this depends on the store having a connected ERP that delivers credit
and receivables. When the connection does not do this reading, the answer says which case it is,
and repeating does not help:

- if the ERP does not do this lookup, it ends with *"doesn't answer this kind of
  lookup. It's not a matter of updating."*;
- if the store's integration is an old version, it starts with *"The lookup
  exists in this ERP, but the installed integration version … is older than the one that
  answers this."*, and the integration needs to be updated.

## How to say which customer it is

Name the customer in the sentence by name, by CNPJ or by their ERP code with the
word "customer" next to it: *"does CNPJ 12.345.678/0001-90 have an overdue receivable?"*,
*"does customer code 12345 have an overdue boleto?"*. A bare number is not enough: with no
customer in the conversation, *"does 12345 have an overdue boleto?"* gets *"Which customer
do you want to know about? Tell me the name or the CNPJ."*, because a number on its own may be a
quantity, a price or a product code.

The invoice number does not work to find the customer in this question. A sentence
like "overdue boleto of the customer on invoice 654321" gets *"I didn't find any
customer of yours with"* followed by the invoice excerpt. Send the name, the CNPJ or the code.

For a similar name, a repeated customer and a customer outside the portfolio, see [Ask Dri about a customer: last purchase, how much they buy and credit](/en/ajuda/perguntar-sobre-um-cliente-pela-dri).

## What comes in the answer

The answer starts with the credit and goes on with the receivables, in one part for each
ERP database of your company:

- **Available limit**: what can still be sold to the customer without running into
  the credit;
- **Limit EXCEEDED**: the customer has already gone over the limit, and the line says by how much.
  *"There is no balance to sell without a release."*;
- **Outstanding receivables**: the count and the sum, with the overdue ones on a separate
  line and those due in the next 7 days on another.

A yes-or-no question (*"is there an overdue boleto?"*) opens with **Yes** or **No**. The
footer says when the reading was done, with *"Checked in the ERP"*, the date and the
time.

Whoever writes "boleto" gets only the boletos, separated by the billing method
registered in that database, and the answer says *"I separated them by document type, using that
database's billing registry."*. When the database does not allow separating, it warns
with a line that starts with *"I couldn't separate the boletos in this database"*, and the
number is of all the open receivables.

## Which invoice each boleto belongs to

When you ask for the receivables in a state (overdue, open or coming due),
Dri lists each receivable on a line with the due date, the open amount, the receivable
number with the installment and the invoice. For example: due 02/10/2026 · R$
1.234,56 · receivable 123456/1 · NF 654321.

The list goes from oldest to newest, which is the collection order. It shows
up to 15 receivables per database and says how many were left out. The receivable number and the NF
only appear when the ERP provides them.

## Who in the portfolio has an overdue boleto

For many customers at once, ask without naming anyone: *"who has an overdue
receivable?"*, *"open boletos above 5 thousand"*, *"who has an overdue boleto in
Bahia?"*. The answer brings the customers from the largest balance to the smallest and offers the
spreadsheet, which only comes when you ask *"send it as a spreadsheet"*.

This answer may come from a receivables position updated from time to time.
When it does, it says the time of the position and how out of date it may be. To
check a customer right now, ask about them: the question about one customer reads the ERP
on the spot. For the filters, the spreadsheet and what the administrator sees, see [Ask about my customer portfolio on WhatsApp](/en/ajuda/minha-carteira-de-clientes-pelo-whatsapp).

## The boleto PDF, the payment line and PIX

On screen, an order's boleto comes out in **Order payments**, in that
order's tab on the quote page, when the store's ERP delivers the boleto to Vendria. The
section comes already loaded: open **Installments and boletos** and use **View**,
**Download**, **Copy payment line** or **Copy PIX copy-and-paste code**. With two
or more boletos, **Download the N boletos** joins them all in a single PDF, without opening the
list. See [The order as it ended up in the ERP](/en/ajuda/o-pedido-no-erp).

Through Dri, sending the boleto is not enabled for everyone yet. To ask for
the file, write "boleto" and, in the same sentence, "PDF", "copy", "payment
line", "barcode" or "PIX". "Send" also works
when the sentence says whose boleto it is: the order or invoice number, or the
customer with "the boleto" in the singular. Without the word "boleto", *"copy of
order ORD-000123"* is read as a request for the order copy, not the boleto.
Examples:

- *"send me the PDF of Bazar Modelo's boleto"*: the customer's open boletos;
- *"send Bazar Modelo's boleto"*: the same, without needing "PDF";
- *"copy of the boleto for order ORD-000123"* or *"send the boleto for order
  ORD-000123"*: that order's boletos;
- *"send me the PDF of the boleto for invoice 654321"*: those of that invoice's order. It also
  works for an order typed directly in the ERP, when the store's integration knows how to
  look up the invoice in the ERP;
- *"copy of the boleto for order 1/123456"*: the order by its number in the
  ERP, with the origin, including one typed directly there;
- *"the 2nd installment"* or *"the one due Friday"* in the same sentence narrow down the installment.

Where it is enabled, the PDF arrives (one per store) along with a message with the payment
line and the PIX copy-and-paste code for each installment. The PIX QR Code is in the PDF.
When there are many installments, the message brings only the payment lines and PIX
stays in the PDF's QR Code.
Asking by customer, the boletos for up to 6 open receivables, from up to 3
orders, come out. When there are more than 6 receivables, the answer says how many went through and asks for the
order number for the others. Without saying which order or which customer, Dri
asks *"Which order do you want the boleto for?"*, sometimes with the candidate
orders numbered right below.

When the boleto does not come out through Dri, the answer changes depending on the reason:

- **The store's integration does not deliver the boleto** (old version, or an ERP that
  does not do it): the answer is *"I can't send the boleto here yet."*,
  followed by why, as at the beginning of this guide. In that case the boleto does not
  come out on screen either. When only one of your stores is like this, the sentence says which one, and
  the other stores' boletos come out normally.
- **Sending through Dri has not been enabled for you yet**: the answer is *"I can't
  send this store's boleto here yet."*, followed by the customer's list of
  open receivables, with due date, amount and NF, for you to pass on.
  The PDF comes out on screen, when the store's ERP delivers the boleto to Vendria.

"Send me Bazar Modelo's open boletos", "send me the overdue boleto" and
"send me Bazar Modelo's boletos", in the plural and without the order number, are
read as a request for the list of receivables, not the file. To get the file,
say "PDF" or "copy". And asking whether Dri sends boletos, in general or
for any customer, without saying which customer or which order, does not
trigger the sending, not even when the question mentions PDF or copy: name the
customer or the order when you want the boleto.

## Has the customer already paid?

Dri shows what the ERP has open at the moment of the question. A receivable that
left the list is no longer open in the ERP. On screen, **Read again** in
**Order payments** redoes the reading, and the paid installment appears as
**Paid**.

## When Dri doesn't find it or doesn't answer

- *"I didn't find any customer of yours with"* and what you wrote: the name did not match
  any customer in your portfolio. Send the CNPJ.
- *"This customer isn't in your portfolio"*: sellers and sales reps look up
  only their own portfolio. Talk to the store's administrator.
- *"I couldn't reach the ERP right now to fetch that data."*: the ERP did not
  respond at that moment. Try again in a few minutes.
- *"I found this order in the ERP, but couldn't read its boleto right now. Try
  again in a moment."*: the order exists in the ERP, but the boleto reading did not
  respond at that moment. Try again, or ask by customer.
- *"For now the boleto comes through your sales rep."*: this is the answer for the
  buyer. The boleto through Dri is something sellers ask for.

## Common questions

**Can I ask by the invoice number?** To know whether the customer has an
overdue receivable, no: Dri finds the customer by name, CNPJ or code.
To ask for the boleto PDF, yes, when the store's integration knows how to look up the invoice
in the ERP. It also works for an order typed directly in the ERP.

**What does a negative limit mean?** That the customer went over the credit
limit. Dri writes **Limit EXCEEDED** and how much they are above it, instead of the
negative number.

**Why does the portfolio list say it may be out of date?** Because it comes
from a receivables position rebuilt from time to time, and the answer says what
time it is from. Ask about the customer to check on the spot.

**How do I send the copy to the customer?** On screen, in **Order
payments**, with **Download** or **Copy payment line**. Where sending through Dri
is enabled, ask for *"a copy of the boleto"* with the order or the customer and
forward the PDF.

**Does Dri show the boleto of an order that did not go through Vendria?** Yes. Asking
by customer, she reads the open receivables directly from the ERP, with each one's NF.
Where boleto sending is enabled, the PDF also comes out by the order number in the
ERP (*"copy of the boleto for order 1/123456"*), by the invoice or by the customer. The **Order payments** screen exists only for an order Vendria
sent to the ERP, and only with an ERP that delivers the boleto to Vendria.
