# Every action Dri knows how to do

> Everything Dri does in the conversation: product, quote, list, portfolio, the customer's history and boleto, files she reads and what uses credits.

## What an action is

An action is something Dri does for you in a conversation: look up a product,
build a quote, generate a list or answer a question. **Each action
uses 1 AI credit**, whatever it is, except what never counts: tidying the
conversation and asking again for the file of a quote that already exists (see below). The
**Plan usage** tab of the **Plans and usage** page shows how much was used, and its **Guide** tab
lists what counts and what does not, for the organization's administration and for those who
belong to a rep agency: the organization's seller who is not an administrator does not have the
Guide tab, they see only the summary.

They fall into three families: what she does when you ask, what she
answers on the spot, and what she reads from the files you send.

## Conversation actions

These are the actions Dri carries out when you ask in writing: on WhatsApp, in her
own chat or on Telegram. What she can do is the same in all three.

Every action uses 1 credit: both the lookups (finding a customer, seeing your
portfolio, your numbers, your billing, the file templates, choosing the
conversation's customer) and the ones that touch the catalog or the quote (looking up a
product, building a list, building and editing a quote). Looking things up is not free: it is an
action like the others. Usage appears in the **Plan usage** tab, and Vendria
sets the value.

What does not count is tidying the conversation (ending it, clearing the conversation's customer,
starting a new order) or asking again for the Excel or PDF of a quote that already
exists: what counts is building the quote, and that has already counted.

### Look up a product

Searches for a product by name, code, description or attribute. Shows price,
stock, stock by branch and expected arrival. Use it when the question is
about **one** product. If you want the set, ask for the list or the quote.

### Generate a product list

Creates a partial list of the catalog (filtered by name, brand, attribute, price
range or stock) and exports it as Excel or PDF. Use it when the customer is going to
**look at** the set before choosing. The file layout is not saved through the
conversation: it is set up in **Catalog and exports**, **Lists** tab, on the
**List templates** card.

### Generate a quote from a filter

The same slice as the list, with two extra filters (store and new arrivals), but the
result is a **quote**, not a file. Use it when it is faster to
describe the set than to dictate the codes: "build a quote with everything that
has more than a thousand pieces in stock", "quote with the new arrivals of the last 30
days, two boxes of each".

If you name the items one by one ("10 AB10371 and 5 AB10008"), Dri builds the
quote the usual way.

The quote is born as a draft and stays yours: you confirm it.

### Build and edit a quote

Includes everything involving the active quote: building it from text or a photo,
adding or removing items, changing quantity, changing conditions (payment
method, payment terms, freight, carrier, delivery date, purchase order
number, price table, discount, note, freight cost), undoing the
last addition of items, starting a new quote and exporting. Of these, **starting
a new quote and exporting do not count**: starting over is tidying the conversation, and when
exporting what counts is building the quote, which has already counted.

Undo only removes the last batch of items you **added** to a
quote already created. Creating the quote is not undone by it: fix it item by
item or on screen. Undoing again removes the previous batch, and an already
confirmed quote does not accept undo. See [Start over, end and the conversation commands](/en/ajuda/recomecar-encerrar-e-comandos-da-conversa).

### Generate the quote file

Exports the active quote as Excel, in your company's template, or as PDF. Exporting
does not count: what counts is building the quote, and that has already counted.

### Look up a customer

Searches customers in your portfolio by name, phone, CPF, CNPJ or the customer's
code in the ERP. With nothing in the search, it shows the list of customers assigned to
you. Use it to **find** the customer; to say the conversation is theirs, it is the next
action.

By code, write the word "customer" before the number ("customer 12345"):
a bare number is usually a product code or a quantity. If the same code
exists in more than one ERP database, she asks which database it is; to skip the
question, say the database name along with the code. When the CNPJ belongs to a customer
in another seller's portfolio, Dri only says it is outside your
portfolio, without saying whose it is.

### Choose and clear the customer

Selects a customer for the conversation (their discount starts applying to
lists and quotes) or removes the active customer. It can be done later: if there is already
an open quote, it becomes that customer's and the discount is redone on its own.

### Request the registration of a new customer

Notes a registration request with the name and, if you have it, the customer's phone.
**The request does not reach the administrator on its own**: it does not go into an
approval queue, nobody is notified, and Dri does not tell you when the registration goes through. Her
own answer says so. For the registration to happen, send whoever
manages your company the customer's name, company name, CNPJ, phone and
address. Once they register it, send the CNPJ to Dri to link
the customer to the conversation.

It is for the sales team: your buyer customer has no access to it. See [Request the registration of a new customer](/en/ajuda/pedir-o-cadastro-de-um-cliente-novo).

### List file templates

Shows the export and import templates available to the company.

### Look up the portfolio

Answers questions about your customer portfolio: filters, counts and
rankings. It is for the sales team: your buyer customer has no access to it.
For the most common questions ("how many customers bought this month?", "who
has gone quiet?", "top 10 of the quarter"), she answers directly, without going through the
catalog; you do not need to choose the path, she chooses it.

In a store with no ERP connected, she answers from Vendria's customer registry and
says so at the end of the answer.

### Look up billing

Shows your billing, read from the ERP: total, by period, by customer. Only
yours: there is no way to ask for a colleague's number. Like the portfolio, it is turned on
store by store by Vendria, and Dri tells you when it is not on in yours yet.

### Look up sales and target

Shows your seller dashboard: sales made, progress toward the target,
number of active customers, average ticket and number of products
available in the catalog. It is your closed number; the portfolio is the list of
who made it up.

### End the conversation

Ends the session: Dri forgets the chosen customer and the open quote, and
the next message starts from scratch. Use it when switching customers, so one's discount
does not slip into the other's order.

Ending does not count: it is tidying the conversation, and tidying the conversation never uses
credits.

## Asking for several things in the same message

When splitting is turned on for you, Dri divides a message into up to
five requests and answers each one, and she always says when she split it: the first
answer starts with "I got N requests", followed by the numbered list and "I'll
be back with each one." Each following answer starts with the request number, like
"1/3 ·". This splitting is not turned on for every seller yet.

**If the answer does not start with "I got N requests", she treated the message as
a single request.** Send what was missing in a new message. Sometimes, when she does not
split and cannot treat the message as a single request, she answers
"It looks like you asked me for more than one thing in that message" and asks for one at a
time.

When she splits, the following applies:

- **At most five per message.** Anything beyond that comes back in an "I received
N more request(s)" line, with the excerpt of each one, for you to send again.
- **A request that needs your answer holds back the following ones.** If the first
asks which store or which product, the others wait, and the summary says one
"awaits your answer above" and the other "comes after your answer". If
you take more than 15 minutes to answer, she says she kept the rest
and asks you to send it again.
- **The part she did not understand comes back** in a "This part I didn't
understand" line, with the text, for you to rewrite.
- **The final summary only appears when something was left pending.** If everything went through, there
  is no summary.

**With a question from Dri open, the next message is read as the
answer.** It is not split into requests: if Dri just asked, for
example, how you want to export, answer first and send the rest afterwards.

## Answers she gives on the spot

Dri recognizes some questions even before going to the catalog and answers on
her own, without you having to give a command. Each answer is an action,
and uses 1 credit like any other.

### Answer a question about the company

Looks for the answer in the organization's knowledge base (the documents
the administrator uploaded) and puts together an answer. If Dri does not find the
answer, she says she does not know.

### Answer a question about Vendria

Looks for the answer in Vendria's help base: these articles you
are reading right now. What Dri shows depends on your profile: seller,
administrator or buyer.

### Ask you to detail the question about Vendria

When the question about Vendria can be understood in more than one way, Dri
does not guess: she returns the possible readings and asks which one is yours.

### Ask instead of guessing about the quote

When what you sent can be read two ways, she asks before
writing: whether she can assume one box of each when the message has only
codes, without quantity, what to do with the order when the verb was not
clear, which of two identical lines is "the second one", which format you want for "send
me the order", and which product is the code that does not exist in the catalog. Writing
on a customer's quote on a hunch is the costly mistake.

If you only wanted to look up the codes, and not quote, tap **No, I'll
type it**: nothing is built. Then ask for their price or stock in a new
message. If you have already tapped **Always do this** once, she no longer asks
and builds the quote directly; to be asked again, say "ask me the
quantity again". See [When Dri asks, and how to answer](/en/ajuda/quando-a-dri-pergunta-e-como-responder).

### Look up a customer's history

Answers about a specific customer, reading from the ERP: when the last
purchase was, how much they bought and in how many invoices, the average ticket, how
often they buy, what they buy most, how much they paid for a product, the
credit limit and the open or overdue receivables, and the payment terms and freight
they usually use. "Tell me about the customer" puts all of this together in an overview.

Name the customer by name, by CNPJ or by code with the word "customer"
before it ("what was customer 12345's last purchase?"). With no customer in the sentence, she
asks which customer you want to know about. When she finds the customer by the company
name and not by the name you wrote, she says so in the answer.

It depends on the store's ERP: where the connection does not deliver the data, the answer is "This
store's ERP doesn't expose that data, so I have no way to look it up." The status of
an order is the next action. See [Ask Dri about a customer: last purchase, how much they buy and credit](/en/ajuda/perguntar-sobre-um-cliente-pela-dri).

### Look up an order's status

Looks up an order's status and can show the NF-e when it already exists. See
[Ask for an order's status on WhatsApp](/en/ajuda/status-do-pedido-pelo-whatsapp).

### Send the boleto

Where it is enabled, Dri sends the boleto (bank slip) for an order from a customer in your
portfolio: the PDF and a message with the payment line and the PIX copy-and-paste code for
each installment. Ask by the order number or by the customer, with "PDF",
"copy", "payment line", "barcode" or "PIX" in the sentence ("send
me a copy of the boleto for order 45678"). Without those words, "send"
also asks for the file when the sentence says whose boleto it is: the order
or invoice number ("send the boleto for order 45678") or the customer, with "the
boleto" in the singular ("send Bazar Modelo's boleto"). On the other hand, "the customer's open
boletos", "the overdue boleto" or "the customer's boletos", in the plural and
without the order number, bring their list of receivables, not the file. And
asking whether Dri sends boletos, in general or for any customer, without saying
which customer or which order, does not trigger the sending: the answer explains how to
ask. Just name the customer or the order in the same question for it to become
the boleto request.

Where it is not enabled yet, the answer is "I can't send this store's boleto
here yet.", with the customer's open receivables when she can
read them. The boleto for an order entered directly in the ERP, which did not go through
Vendria, does not come out through the conversation either: ask by the Vendria order number
or by the customer. The boleto for a Vendria order can also be downloaded on screen.
See [Boletos, overdue receivables and the customer's credit through Dri](/en/ajuda/boletos-titulos-e-credito-do-cliente-pela-dri) and [The order as it ended up in the ERP](/en/ajuda/o-pedido-no-erp).

### Look up a product's cost and margin

Dri answers the product's cost (the average cost from the ERP registry, without freight
or import) and the margin, and simulates a discount or sale price ("and with 15%?",
"margin selling at R$ 45,00"). Up to three products per question.

Who sees it is restricted: the organization's owner and administrator see it for any
product, the store administrator sees it for the stores they manage, and the company's
seller only sees it for a product that is on one of their quotes or orders, draft
included. Whoever serves through a rep agency and the buyer customer never
get cost. The store needs to have the cost coming from the ERP. This lookup, like
the purchase invoice one right below, is still being enabled by Vendria gradually,
person by person.

### Look up a purchase invoice

Finds a purchase invoice by number, by number with series or supplier,
or by the 44-digit access key, and shows issue date, total and, if you
ask, the items with the price paid. Only owners and administrators look it up: the
seller does not, because the invoice shows the cost of products that are not theirs. Not
every ERP delivers the purchase invoice: where it does not, she says she could
not search in this store.

### Deliver a list in a specific template

When you ask "send the list in template X", Dri generates the list in the named
format without going through the search.

### Swap a quote item

Swap an item on an open quote without going through the full product search.
Only the item: quantity and order conditions follow the usual path. It is
a quote edit, and costs as such.

### Correct Dri

When you say "that's not it" or correct an answer, Dri keeps the correction
and redoes what she had understood.

### Send an access link

When you ask *"send me an access link"*, Dri answers in the same
conversation with a new link to sign in to Vendria, into your account and your home
screen. The link is valid for 30 minutes and works only once; do not forward it, because
whoever opens it gets into your account. If your registration has no store enabled, she
says so instead of sending the link, and that answer does not use credits.

### Know how much your account has

When you ask *"how many credits do I have?"*, *"when do the
credits expire?"* or *"when does my plan renew?"*, Dri answers in the same conversation
with your account's balance, what the plan gives in the period, when it renews and what
expires before that. She answers for YOUR company's account: whoever sells through a
rep agency company hears the rep agency's account, and whoever is on the
organization's team hears the organization's. Whoever is responsible for the contract gets the path
to the Plans tab; the others, the advice to talk to whoever is responsible for the account.

## File import

When you send a file or a photo, Dri tries to extract the items from it
automatically. Each import uses 1 credit.

### Photo or image

Dri reads the image (it can be a photo of a handwritten order, of a screen, of
a catalog) and extracts the items with quantity and code.

### PDF

Same as the photo, but for PDF documents: Dri reads the pages and extracts the items.

### Spreadsheet (Excel, CSV or HTML)

Dri maps the spreadsheet's columns to the quote fields and extracts the
items. It works with Excel (.xlsx), CSV and with those spreadsheets some ERPs
export that open in the browser.

### Pasted text

Pasting an order as plain text, in the system: Dri extracts the items the same
way she would from a spreadsheet or photo.

### Audio

Dri transcribes the voice message into text and treats it as a
typed message.

## How to know how much each action cost

In the **Plan usage** tab of the **Plans and usage** page, which details the statement's columns.
See [AI credits: how much each action costs and how much was used](/en/ajuda/creditos-de-ia-da-sua-conta).

Today every action that counts costs 1 credit, on any channel: WhatsApp, her own chat,
Telegram or an import done in the system. Vendria sets the price, not
your company, and it may give an action or a channel a different value (WhatsApp
costing more, for example). The statement shows how much each action cost, and,
if an action changed price, the value that applied on the day.

If **Plans and usage** does not appear in the top bar, the screen has not been
enabled for your organization yet: the direct address leads back to
Quotes, without notice, and that is not a permission error. Vendria enables it.

## Common questions

**Dri answered that I asked for more than one thing. What do I do?** Send each
request in its own message, starting with the first.

**How many things can I ask for in one message?** Up to five, where splitting is
turned on; she lists anything beyond that for you to send again. If the answer does not
start with "I got N requests", send one request per message.

**I requested a customer's registration through Dri. Does the administrator know already?** No. The
request is noted, but it does not reach anyone on its own: tell your company's
administrator and send them the customer's details.

**Can I find the customer by the ERP code?** Yes. Write "customer" before the
number, like "customer 12345", or send the CNPJ.

**Does undo delete the quote I just created?** No. Undo removes only the
last batch of items you added afterwards; on a newly created quote,
fix it item by item or on screen.

**Why won't Dri give me a product's cost?** Either the product is not on one of your
quotes or orders, or you serve through a rep agency, or the store (or the
product itself) does not receive the cost from the ERP yet. The organization's owner and administrators
see the cost of any product; the store administrator, that of the
stores they manage.
