# The product page

> For the buyer: what a product page shows, how to read the discounted price, the packaging and the availability, and how to add it to the quote.

## Where to find it

In the menu, under **Catalog**. Click any product in the list and its page
opens. The **Back** button, at the top, takes you back to the catalog.

To find the product in the list, see [Place an order from the catalog](/en/ajuda/fazer-um-pedido-pelo-catalogo).

## What the product page shows

At the top, the product code on a tag and, next to it, when the supplier
registered them, the sales unit and the packaging (for example, *Box · Pack 12*), the
brand and the collection. Right below come the product name and, sometimes, a line of
description.

The photos sit on the left on a computer and at the top on your phone. When there is more
than one, you can swipe from one to the next.

Further down, two reference boxes may appear:

- **Attributes**: the characteristics the supplier registered (dimensions, color,
  material, voltage…);
- **Barcodes**: the product's barcodes, useful to check
  the label on the goods.

## The product's price box

The price box already shows the price with your company's terms. You
don't need to ask for a discount or do any math: what you see is what goes into the
cart.

- *With a discount for your company*: the **Table price** line is struck through,
  right below it the discount appears (the percentage, or one line for each
  discount applied) and, last, the **Net price**, which is your price.
- *On promotion*: **Table price** is struck through and the **Promotion** line shows the
  promotional price.
- *No discount*: only **Table price** appears, not struck through. In that case, it already
  is your price.

When the supplier provides taxes on the product, the box gets one line per
tax, with the rate, and a **Total** with the taxes added. When it doesn't,
and the quantity is more than one, the notice *This total does not include
taxes — the order may charge them* appears: the final amount may go up in the order.

## Unit, packaging and closed box

The **Unit / Packaging** line says how the product is sold and how many units
come in the package: *Pack 12* means a box of 12.

When the product is sold by the unit but comes in a box, the page already helps:

- the **Quantity** starts at the box size;
- the plus and minus buttons move box by box (12, 24, 36…);
- if you type a number that doesn't close the box, **Not a multiple of** appears in amber followed by the box size.

When the price is for the whole package, the quantity counts packages, and the
buttons move one by one.

⚠️ The multiple warning doesn't stop you from putting it in the cart, but the supplier may
require closed boxes. In that case sending the order is refused until the quantity
closes the box. See [Order sent: what happens now](/en/ajuda/pedido-enviado-o-que-acontece-agora).

⚠️ For a product without a photo the page is simpler: the buttons move one by one and the
multiple warning doesn't appear. Check the quantity in the cart, which shows the
multiple mark on the lines.

## Product availability

Below the price box an availability tag may appear:

- **Available**: the supplier has the product;
- **Made to order**: the supplier can fill it, but not right away;
- **Sold out**: no forecast for filling it right now.

No tag at all only means there is no stock reading to show,
not that the product is out. With some suppliers a green tag with the catalog's
*in stock* quantity also appears next to the code.

Availability informs, it doesn't block: you can order a sold-out product. The
seller assesses whether it can be filled after you send it.

## Product with variants or in a kit

*Product with variants* (color, size, voltage…): the box shows the name of the
variation and how many options exist, and the add button becomes **Choose variant**.

1. Click **Choose variant**.
2. In the window, adjust the quantity of each option with the plus and minus buttons.
3. Check the total number of pieces at the bottom of the window.
4. Click the add button, which says how many pieces will go in.

If the product comes in packages, the page tells you the minimum quantity per option, and
the window's buttons move by that step.

*Product in a kit*: the box shows **Kit** with the composition (for example, the
sizes that come together). A kit goes in whole, through the **Add to Quote** button.

## How to put the product in the cart

1. Adjust the **Quantity** with the plus and minus buttons, or type the number.
2. Check the **Subtotal** and the **Total**, which appear when the quantity is more
   than one.
3. Click **Add to Quote**.

The product goes to the cart, in the **Cart** button at the top of the screen. The
quantity in the box goes back to its initial value, ready for another addition.

Left the quantity at 1 on a product sold by the box? Vendria puts a
whole box in the cart, not a loose unit.

If the cart already has products from another of the supplier's stores, a window opens before
adding, explaining which store this product is from and what happens to the
purchase. Choose there how to proceed.

## When it goes wrong

*The page shows "Product not found"*: the product left the catalog, isn't
released to your company, or the address is wrong. Go back to the catalog and
search by the code.

*The price on the page is different from what I expected*: the price already comes with the
terms registered for your company. If they are wrong, talk to
your seller.

*The Total changed in the cart*: taxes the page didn't show, or a
payment term with a different discount, can change the final amount.
Check the cart before sending.

*I don't see the Add to Quote button*: the product has variants, and the button is
**Choose variant**.
